    I am a research fellow at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP).


    I received B.A. in East Asian History from Yonsei University, M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in both Korea and Japan Studies from UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, and Ph.D. in Economics from Stony Brook University. My current research interests include U.S.-China trade conflict, US-China technological rivalry, economic security, and China-Japan-Korea trilateral relations.
